Wednesdays are good.
Wednesday 14/3/07
The day started out quite late. I woke up around 9+, got changed and had breakfast at home. However, I sometimes have the habit of being-addicted-to-the-computer. I was trying to find a new ROM for the O2 Atom. I found it alright, at the same time RESETTING my entire O2. Lost all my appointment schedules and sermon notes =(
I then magically appeared in the magical box known as Magic Box. Shortly after, Cindy and I went to dabao lunch for ourselves and Eddie. Then I also dabao-ed for Adeline and Janice. Eh well,today was much better for Jacob's dream. Every song has improved quite a significant bit.
Esp Jess again! Her stage performance really shot up when she gave more intensity. There was just so many ideas popping into my head when I watched the rehearsals. Janice,3sa,Jess and I made some Mirror House thingy. It was scary cos 3sa-jie is an expert at scaring me. =) After the rehearsals were over, I met Charmaine Tay..haha. Nice to see a childhood friend once in awhile don't you agree? Jiajun left me to pack up the place..lol
Up at TCT Auditorium, we got a good feel about how the concert would be like. This concert is going to rock Singapore =) Haha, then Chow yan practiced mix voice and head voice...? After everything, Janice, Adeline and I went for dinner...AND I GOT A FREE MILO AGAIN! XD
I took 153 back with Adel and walked over to Xiang Zhong to meet Fuyang. It got boring after awhile and we went back. So here I am at my com!

G12 Week here!
Yeah! The long anticipated G12 week is here! What will God do this time? We definitely can expect a great move of God this year in the Year of Victory. I can hardly wait!
Monday 12/3/07
Yesterday, I woke up at around 8, cabbed down to TCT Magic box to rehearse for a special event coming up on the 13th of April. Jesus the Rock Concert on the friday after Good Friday is specially designed to show YOU how God has changed and transformed people's lives. Not only will there be music, there will be interesting real-life testimonials where you may or may not identify with. Believe me we are practicing very hard. Here let me split up the day into 3 sections.
1. Revival's rehearsal
Now this part of the day was quite interesting. We faced many problems such as my guitar's pick up falling out of place hence being completely UNABLE to use the guitar for rehearsal. Thankfully, Wai Kay(my cell leader/lead guitarist of Revival) managed to fix it back. Daniel Wong had his first rehearsal with us and we were already doing very well. Juice to Daniel. After rehearsing the songs a few times, we went for lunch(while Daniel went to collect something from the office) and came back to practice the guitar parts with Wai Kay. Its really team dynamics when you have two guitarists playing at the same time. After 2pm, the vocalists came in and trained a new song that we threw to them. All day by Hillsongs United: More than Life. I'm really grateful to the vocalists: Claudia,Danae and Lydia for bearing with our constant song changes and I fully understand some of you girls had already practiced hard for Everything's Changed. Thats why you girls are SOLID =) In the end, we managed to tie down everything together quite well.
2. Jacob's Dream's Rehearsal (feels weird putting two 's)
Eh well, since Revival used the amplifiers for the microphones, I had to get to work to set up more microphones cos Jacob's dream had quite a number of vocalist. However, Jiajun did most of the work..haha. Afterwhich I made my way to Redhill MRT to get Adeline and Janice (should've charged Milo for that XD) So when we came back, I did some more sound tech stuff until the bands started playing. Gui Ji was really well emoted by Eddie, the JD(Jacob's Dream) did really well for Behind these Hazel Eyes. However, I really wanna commend the lead singer for the song Iris, Jess. She's really improved tremendously since the last rehearsal. All the colours in the singing plus the added power that she lacked in the previous rehearsal..Such a big jump in improvement is definitely something I wanna continue watching. Zest was really good at stage presence too! To JD: SOLID! Work hard and improve exponentially =)
3. Advisor's meeting
Hmm, nothing much to say except an awesome worship session lead by Jiajun. It feels good to sing some old songs again.Haha. I went home quite late...

The whole day was spent at an Internet Marketing Seminar by Stores Online. It was really interesting and productive. I'm glad I went with my mum. Went to drop by on Grace in Carrefour and Clement/Pearl in Srgn Mac. Haha and yes, I changed the blogskin. One way.

Hey, as most of you already know, I took on a job with Venture Era as a network marketer. VE really rocks cos of the working environment...its so high energy level and a good place to work. Most people generally hate salesman cos of the pressure they get when they want to say no to them..but I feel that salespeople are the best kind cos they either go to your place or you go to theirs, and they bother to give you a presentation about their extremely good product. So if you ever meet a door-to-door salesman(which im not doing anymore) or a friend who is doing sales, spare him a few minutes of your time to listen to him. Believe me, it feels much better than having the door slammed in your face.
I wish there was someway to restore what I've lost. Seriously, how the heck did I make two mistakes in a row....Don't I ever learn..? What must I do to earn back the friendship of one of the greatest people I know? Hmmm...
Being emo really isn't good for my health =P and it won't do good worrying people around me who really care. So dont worry, I'm over it long ago and I look forward to a fulfilling life with God walking me through the journey with VE.

New friends
Another new bunch of friends at mac. Nice to have met them..
I wonder..if sometimes I keep my mouth shut, would I still get to know all these friends? I mean..how do you convert a stranger to a friend..? haha.
Yesterday went to Wai Kay's house and Ian's house. Ian and I wrote a song..its nice..its called come and rescue me. Then listened to a few songs and played computer at his place till abt 9++..my flyff not working now..sian.
Today's the day we're going to send Sharmaine off.. =( a wonderful daughter that I will dearly miss..sigh..after all..we've been through a lot together. Hmm..I hope australia will be a much better place for her..a new start, a new beginning..
Oh yeah..thanks Teriza for putting those songs in..although i dont like some of them..haha..i seriously seriously have to boost my knowledge of secular music..im so out of touch..I dont understand why she put korean and japanese songs tho..although she did put english and chinese too..heh.

Revival
Most of you have probably already heard about Revival. Revival is more than just a band. It is our ministry where we want to touch lives and sing songs that touch the heart of God while relating to people's feelings. Revival is NOT limited to just WaiKay,Joel,Samuel and Me. And of course our soundman Perry. No. We're going to change the atmosphere in Singapore. We're going to believe God for a revival thats about to sweep the nation. Calling all musicians to start writing songs to glorify God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Even if you're not a musician, but you managed to sing out a song, record it and pass it to your musician friends. Get them to write the music out for you. Pass me all your finished songs or draft songs. Also calling singers, esp females. We need people who can harmonise but more importantly, people who have a heart for God, a heart for our nation. Let the year of victory come with such power from the Holy Spirit and let it just flow through our nation. Now is the time to use your talents for God. Day just before the camp
Forced by a few people to update..I've quit my job for reasons i shall not say here. I've met Cindy's dad(cindy is my colleague) on monday, stayed home on tuesday, went to watch eragon with sk and ck and the group of guys..man..the guys were...hmm..typical ACSI students...lol. Then today i went to watch eragon with claud,danae and rach...again...its a nice movie..haha. BUT I BADLY WANNA WATCH HAPPY FEET...hmm..after the movie, rach left and the rest of us went to S&K where monpig took such a long long long long long long long time to pick her clothes...then we walked around a bit more before she went to sch and we went to suntec to meet lester. I saw 12 people whom i knew there. haha. Sharon was one of them..i think she's getting irritated at me popping by so often =P hmm..then after we met lester at toys r us..we walked around and left for parkwayy...we didnt do much there..after they left..i took a bus home and i slept all the way. Passed macs but no one was there..ate at the coffee shop and here i am. Sitting in my room typing the events of the week. I wonder what the camp will be like..hmm...

Wishlist
Ok, a lot of people have been asking me what I want for my birthday.
I actually dont really need presents atm..but I'll do a wishlist for fun.Just to help the people who dont know what i want..?
1.Magenetic chinese chess set(mini and portable) - I actually found out where its being sold today. I've spent a long time looking for one but I couldn't seem to find it. I wont tell you where to get it. You have to find out yourself. If I dont get it, I'll buy one myself.
2.For my family,close friends,frends and ha.....haha to wish me happy birthday?
(I'm listening to my neighbour's sister's birthday song as I type this...heh BF...)
3.Hmmmm...one thing that I want, but will only accept it from my parents, is the Perfect Pitch Program on wwww.singingsuccess.com. I won't accept from friends cos its way too expensive..however, I don't think that my parents would get it..so I have to work my full ten days before getting it on my own.Same goes for the iPod video..lol
4.A new elec guitar(impossible)
5.Stevie wonder's CD cos I've heard he's a good singer and I want to listen to his style...Christian CDs are also good...but I'm afraid I have most of the CDs...im actually looking for christian Male vocal singers who are good.
Sidetracking here for awhile, let me tell you why I'm so outdated and almost never know the songs being played on the radio. After post encounter in Primary 5, I made my decision to stop listening to secular music and mroe of christian music. I believe music, is something created by God and is something that one day, will be used only for His Namesake. I don't intend to follow the World's style of music..thats why I'm so outdated and only know songs from planetshakers/delirious/hillsongs. Although, I do recognise tunes from popular songs.
Another area I've been looking into is chinese songs, cos the dynamics are really different. Anyway, to sum it up, my kind of music, is gospel christian music. Go revival, be blessed and write more songs to glorify God!
The best present you can give is to at least wish me happy birthday, cos it means a lot to me. It tells me that I have a friend who bothers and blessed that friend shall be.
NO BUYING OF MILO(i can get it at the coffee shop..i rather u dont waste ur money.)/UNDERWEAR/SICK STUFF/CAKE(this is weird but i only eat chocolate cake..i dont know what to say every year when people buy me cake =/) for me this year please...lol.

Monday
Hey..haven't posted in a long time. Just to let you guys know, i've found a job as a door-to-door salesman. Working hours are 9-6 Mon-sat(sat half day). Its not bad and i look forward to gaining the experience.
Anyway, this is a post about yesterday. After I left my house in the morning, I met Derek at the family clinic..lol..then I told him I was going mac..I reached mac, bought my food, ate, and studied chess until Derek came. Totally off form, I lost two matches and draw two matches. Then Esther showed up and left as quickly as she came. Yi xi and his friend showed up too. After that..I left mac to go to the bus stop and meet latecomer number 1. Grace. lol..we arranged to meet at 1145..but we only met at ard 12...stupid girl =P...we took 133 to suntec, and walked around the area..erm..we walked into carrefour..walked around the whole place..then we walked into toys'r'us and we saw this really cute spiderman..lol. I took a video of it..maybe might upload later.
After walking around for about an hour and a half, latecomer number 2, sharon, arrived..blaming latecomer number 1 for asking her to take her time. lol..we went back into carrefour..i saw this really funny book..called star warped. A parody of star wars...
Uncle Sven:Luke, i must tell you something.
Luke:What is it, Uncle Sven?
Uncle Sven: I'm not your real father.
Luke: Hence the reason I call you Uncle Sven...Ah..that makes sense.So, who is mm real father?
Uncle Sven: I cannot say his name. He has gone over to the Dark Side of the Farce.
Luke:The Farce? Whats that?
Uncle Sven: The Farce has two sides. The Dark Side..and the Pale Side. One is darker than the other.
Auntie Sven: Look, the Dark Father killed another member of the senate.*Shows Luke the news report.
The news report:
The Dark Father(darthvader -.-) killed another member of the senate today. To say it was cool, is an understatement. IT WAS WAY COOL!!! He just rose his hand and made a grip like he was trying to test whether a sweet potato was cooked or not. The victim rose up and started choking as well. Then he died(I summarised it cos i cant rmb much..its really funny though)
Uncle Sven:That's pretty Dark behaviour, even for the Dark Father
Luke:I dont get it. Why did Dark Father have to raise his hand to kill the guy?Isn't it much cooler to keep his hands in his pocket and kill him telepathically? I dont get the raise-his-hand bit.
Uncle Sven: The Farce is really strange.
Then sharon and grace went for an interview.And i had my lunch.I have the super ability to entertain myself. I visited a professional toys store..i saw the various lightsaber hilts and an actual life size figure of yoda.i love yoda...he's so cute! then i saw different toys Kong(they had a kong chess set!?),pirates of the carribean,LOTR,Star Wars and spidey..lol. so cool. Then i went to carrefour and played with the keyboards on sale(the piano..not the computer -.-) Then they were done and we walked to marina square...ended up in kiddy palace playing with toys.. XD
Then we went home. I hung out in mac till about 9...with no one..just messing with my breakthrough card system =/ and here i am. awake on a tuesday morning..all ready to go JAMMING WITH REVIVAL! WOOO! heh.

At 9, i went to mac..and grace was alr there o.O (so hardworking..) then i had breakfast...then xavier and guo jun came from sch and were dicussing the class bbq plans with me...(i dont know why? but im their first person to register) and then we tried so hard to solve a math qn...haha..then i got a breakthrough..hmm..then after awhile..wan ling came..and she started doing MY MATH..=/ and so i went to talk to water girl..lol..then a lot of people xiang wai wai..right wg? lol. hmm..then wait very long for dickson to come...while waiting..i met this new friend named mandl who's also a magician...so i watched him do some tricks and fluorishes. then sharon borrowed my cards to practice how to do a thumb fan (really not bad for first timer..lol) ah..then dickson came finally..and we got to work...not long after..i received a msg from blur queen to go get her from serangoon interchange..when i reached there..she was walking in the wrong direction trying to look for me..lol..ahm..then we went to serangoon mac. then i started answering about 5 questions before doing my work..hmm..i would say that i was productive ba..derek and ying qi came down subsequently. At 4, i was going to send monpig back but my mum asked me to carry the groceries back(how nice..it started to rain) i went back to mac with my shoes and half of my jeans wet. XD so fun -.- er...then study till 6++..then go home eat dinner (SPAGHETTI!!! WOOOHOOOOO!!!!! IN YER FACE -all those who always suan me when they eat spaghetti-..) haha..then i went back to mac to study SS. found ying qi, jasmine and mandl there *AGAIN!?* lol..jk..then we hid ying qi's mp3..and erm...derek came back down...i studied till 11+ when my bf came..haha..then mummy called and i had to go home..LOL..(so mummy's boy...XD) then i showered..and came back out..and i found out that someone is really scared to walk home by herself in the middle of the night...hahaha...kk i shant be so mean..she's doing me a big favour after all..haha..thanks bf =)

These few days very sian. If its not study, then its FMA, or gunbound. heh. but lately have to study more..else some people will kill me. hmmm..yesterday went to mac. met Xin yi there...then Jiang,Gil,DW and rachel seah yi ning came..then xavier appeared also..twig was there, kevin tang, and ooi yong ann..like some marist gathering like that =/ Its a joy not to go to school. haha. hope the Os will come and go quickly. Here's a list of things I wanna do after Os.

Broke my glasses
Sunday morning. 8:17..my glasses were dirty. I cleaned it. It broke. Yes, it broke. Went to church without my specs..brought my Add math TYS. I sat with crys,san,shar and denise. Then while waiting for my terribly late student(Joel Koh aka paremescium)
to arrive, I helped shar with her math and a bit of chem. Then Joel arrived and I taught him a bit on binomial expansions afterwhich he left with Ian for another tuition. Then I played chinese chess with perry then adriel..then so guy who played ping feng ma(so hard to attack in) in the first round(but i won) and he used guo gong pao in the second round where i lose and the third round was shun pao vs lie pao..and i won by luck. then he borrowed two chess sets from me so i walked around..and went in for service..it was a different kind of atmosphere..i dont know why. after service we celebrated basia's birthday (BTW happy birthday aunty basia!) and then er...i drank milo? and afterwhich i stuck around a lil longer..then went back with my lovely irritating suaning cousin rachel,jian xin, melanie,adeline. Adeline said i didnt look sec 4 -.- and rachel naturally suaned me all the way to her station. i came home and couldnt play gunz properly without my specs..but it was ok..then i called in..

Happy birthday pris
Happy birthday to my dad and pris. yesterday was blog-worthy, hence im taking the time to blog about it. I reached parkway before 2 and was playing psp while talking to claudia..then i met perry who was even earlier than me. And we sat and drank milo. Then one of the monster's whacked a female character and i said: oie..whack my girlfriend! just nice..claudia was standing behind me when i said that..i stopped playing when wee kiat came with matthew. we waited about half an hour for the latecomers(the birthday girl, organiser, vice-organiser) to arrive. then we went to east coast and tied bomb bags. I was half hoping to see rach and half hoping not to..lol.after tying for ages, i cut myself(its okay now) and then pris came..den we pulled everyone in the water. i hope i didnt overdo it..lol i apologise if i did. anw..then we went for a shower..and i was singing you're pitiful..everyone was trying to shut me up. then we went pw....the girls took sooooo long to decide on where to eat...i dont see whats wrong with a food court =/ anw...we ate at kfc and crapped alot..everyone rejected my straw heart and claudia even threw it on the floor T.T we left at ard 8..and i took a bus back(played psp and overshot my stop and had to walk home)Then i read my sms and realised that it was so late and i forgot to call danae XD ahm..then crapped till 12:30++ until her fone no more batt...den i went to brush my teeth and fell asleep while waiting for her msg which took forever to come in. haha..rachel wasnt there this time..she was at camp..on sunday night we talked until 1++ but someone pang seh danae(i wont mention that her name is rachel) and we thought she fell asleep..but she claims she 'went to take something' lol..oh well..nothing much abt today..so..guess i'll see u next time.
